Tear-off and disposal of roof:
All-Star Roofing Co. will call you, usually the day before the job has been scheduled. The owner, Kirk, is on every job site. On the day the job is started, a trailer is brought in and used to contain the discarded roofing materials, which are placed directly from the roof, so there will not be a lot of debris on the ground. Extra care is used to make sure no damage is done to the property.
Delivery of materials:
The suppliers will deliver the materials and place them directly onto the roof, usually the morning the job is started.
Installation of new roof:
After the old materials are removed, the wood decking is inspected. Any loose boards are re-secured and any damaged wood is replaced. We do not go over any bad wood in order to keep the job going. Next, the ice and water guard, felt paper and shingles are installed. Finally, the remaining roofing accessories are installed. All city codes and requirements are followed.
Cleanup:
The grounds are swept and a nail magnet is used to pick up loose nails. All debris is hauled away.
